This will be a one off wine for me as it is destined for a white blend. I held a little of the ‘23 vintage back to bottle stand alone, as I was absolutely smitten with it.  The variety’s origin is Italy, where it is grown widely in Sardinia and Corsica.  I was struck by the incredibly pretty nose which shows apple blossom and peach. The palate is long and slick with lime juice, granny smith apple and an undeniable salty character.  An absolute match made in heaven with white anchovies and oysters.  Fermented in used French barriques on full solids,  I bottle the wine in September 2023.  Very limited availability.
