Fred Fiano is an ode to my Dad, Fred, a very, very busy bee.  Fiano is known in its native Campania, Italy as the wine of the bees.  Thought to have been cultivated by the ancient Greeks, Fiano has a long history.  Showing honey, apple blossom and hazelnut this wine was fermented in French oak barriques where it remained for 7 months on full solids.  The clear wine was racked and bottled in September.
