Grapes are from the Deanery vineyard in Balhannah and the Downer vineyard in Oakbank - Adelaide Hills. 30% whole bunch in the ferment, pressed to oak - 30% new. The wine is plush, bright and delicious. Raspberry, blueberry, iodine. Soft and juicy on the palate but finishes with tannin and structure. A satisfying shiraz that you could slurp and enjoy or sip and contemplate.
